One nation can always follow only one set of laws – if there are two, then civil war and unrest usually follow soon. Recently, Mustafa Carrol, Director of CAIR, a non-profit organization from Dallas, gave a speech at a rally in Austin saying “If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.” This strikes at the heart of the beliefs of anyone who chose to believe in the Constitution and Rule of Law instead of Islam.

Islam is a religion which doesn’t acknowledge any other god than Allah and his law, which can be a problem in western society as Sharia law isn’t compliant with the Constitution. No country can remain peaceful if two systems of justice are applied – the Sharia law may work in segregated communities, but it doesn’t apply in the USA. CAIR says that they want to promote a relationship of peace between Muslims and non-Muslims, but they don’t understand that the “One law for all” principle applies in cases of conflict of law. Anything less than that, and the concept USA has built for centuries will fall apart. This is not about religions – it’s about the existence of a country with people who know how to respect each other. Anyone who feels different can leave.

On one hand, Mustafa showed his true face with the statement, but there will still be people defending Islam. These people will brand anyone who doesn’t think like them an “Islamophobe”, which will only lead to ethnic conflicts no one likes to have. When did we become like this? When did rejecting the laws of the USA become acceptable? When did patriotism became a bad thing? WAKE UP, PEOPLE – LET’S MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
