LOL: ESPN’S MICHAEL WILBON JUST COMPARED NFL PLAYERS TO SLAVES ON A PLANTATION [VIDEO]
As we reported yesterday, NFL players throughout the league think that Mike Pence walking out of a football game was emblematic of “systemic oppression”. (Yes, really)
Apparently NFL players are the only ones who are allowed to express their beliefs in a public setting. If it’s anyone else, it’s “RACIST!”
On Monday, ‘Pardon The Interruption’ host Michael Wilbon took it even FURTHER by comparing NFL players to slaves on a plantation. Yes, multi-millionaires with Rolls Royce’s in their driveway are being compared to slaves who were beaten, whipped, and sometimes killed just because of the color of their skin.

“And the word that comes to my mind is plantation. ‘The players are here to serve me and they will do what I want. No matter how much I pay him, they are not equal to me“, Wilbon said.
Apparently he was talking about the NFL owners, accusing them of having a “plantation mindset”.
I know this sounds shocking and ridiculous, but this is the exact kind of thinking that is prevalent in ESPN headquarters. They truly believe that these multi-millionaires are being “oppressed”…because nothing says oppression like getting $100k checks per WEEK to play a game!
These players work hard, no doubt. I’m not taking anything away from them in that regard…
But to sit back and still play the victim card after everything they’ve been given for their talents is downright LAUGHABLE.
