Kirsters Baish| In the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, President Trump and his administration have been working hard in order to help the people of Puerto Rico restore normalcy in their communities. The governor of Puerto Rico has praised President Trump on his efforts and has been extremely gracious. Of course, the Left are still attacking President Trump, claiming that he hasn’t been helping the people of Puerto Rico. Many are labeling the President of the United States as a white supremacist. These same people are stating that President Trump is not helping the people of Puerto Rico because he is racist. The truth of the matter is that President Trump has been doing a phenomenal job.

The mayor of San Juan along with liberal politicians like Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have been pointing the finger at President Trump and making false claims that he did more to help the people of Texas than he has been doing for the people of Puerto Rico. This simply isn’t the case. Now, Sanders has come out to make a bold statement about President Trump being a white supremacist.

The governor of Puerto Rico stated recently, “I have to say that the administration has responded to our petitions. FEMA, Brock Long, has been on the phone virtually all the time with me, checking out how things are going.”

Of course, the mainstream liberal media has decided to ignore the Governor of Puerto Rico and only listen to those who support their ridiculous narrative. They have been focused on spewing the lies that the San Juan Mayor has been telling about Trump. It doesn’t matter what President Trump does, the mainstream media will continue to bash him.

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders made a statement claiming that the only reason Puerto Rico isn’t completely back on their feet already is because President Trump is racist against Puerto Ricans… but most Puerto Ricans are white, Bernie.

Sanders stated, “Given the president’s history on race, given the fact that he — a few months ago — said there were good people on both sides when neo-Nazis were marching in Charlottesville, yeah, I think we have a right to be suspect that he is treating the people in Puerto Rico in a different way than he has treated the people of Texas or Florida.”

It’s pretty interesting that Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton have been so vocal about their views on President Trump in this case since they haven’t done much to help. I’d like someone to tell me where these Democrats were when Puerto Rico’s debts climbed to nearly $123 billion, causing their economy to fall into an 11-year long recession. I would also like to clarify where the Democrats were when the median household income in Puerto Rico plummeted to $18,626.

And as for their claims that President Trump is treating Puerto Rico differently than he treated Texas or Florida, I would like to see some evidence, perhaps some numbers to prove this. The Left continues to spread lies about President Trump in order to push their anti-Trump rhetoric, and we are not going to stand for it. We voted Trump into office for a reason, and he is following through on his promises. Why can’t these guys get over the fact that they lost the election and deal with it in a healthier way?
